Subject: To promote mathematics, our association has scheduled the "WMI World Mathematics Invitational - 2026 Taiwan Selection Competition" for January 4, 2026 (Sunday). We kindly request your school to make an announcement and recommend students to participate in the competition to enhance mathematics education. We welcome your participation to join international mathematics, discover outstanding talents, and bring glory to our nation. Please review and approve.
Details:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of the Interior's letter No. Tai Nei She Zi No. 9009557 dated March 2001 and our association's 2025 work plan.
2. The WMI World Mathematics Invitational is the first international mathematics competition initiated by Taiwan, bringing together organizations worldwide that promote mathematics education. The finals are held in different countries each year, with outstanding contestants selected from national selection competitions representing their countries.
3. The "WMI World Mathematics Invitational - 2026 Taiwan Selection Competition" is open to all ROC national students from public and private kindergartens to the third year of high school in Taiwan. We welcome students who love mathematics to participate enthusiastically, respond collectively, and win honor for Taiwan.
4. Authorized by the WMI International Organizing Committee, in addition to the original 13 examination districts, we are also opening applications for affiliated (self-established) examination centers to schools across Taiwan. Schools interested in applying are welcome to call our association to inquire about the application methods and regulations.
