H: (手機鈴聲) What’s that?

G: That’s my cell phone. Excuse me. I’ll turn it off now. 我馬上關掉。

H: 你剛剛說cell phone。Cell phone是什麼呢？

G: Cell phone就是「手機」。「我正在滑手機」，就是I’m playing ON my cell phone.

H: Cell phone就是「手機」。我正在玩手機，就是I'm playing ON my cell phone.

     用手機最悲慘的情況，就是手機沒電了，需要充電。「充電」的英文怎麼說呢？

G: 「充電」的英文叫做Charge。

H: Charge，充電。My phone needs charging. May I borrow your charger? 我的手機要充電了，可以跟你借充電器嗎？

G: Sure! Here you go.

H: Thanks. 對了，我的手機上面有很多A-P-P，為什麼這些程式要叫做A-P-P啊？

G: A-P-P是application，「應用程式」的簡稱。Application念起來有點長，所以取前面三個字母，唸成APP，以後不要再唸A-P-P啦。

H: 原來應用程式要唸成APP。你看，我下載了一個相機APP，拍出來的相片好可愛喔。我想跟你一起自拍，用英文要怎麼說呢？

G: 「自拍」叫做selfie。「一起來自拍吧！」英文可以說Let’s take a selfie.

H: Let’s take a selfie. 一起來自拍吧！

H: Let’s review today’s lessons. 「手機」叫做

G: Cell phone.

H: Cell phone，手機。「充電」叫做

G: Charge.

H: Charge，充電。「應用程式」叫做

G: APP.
