Subject: Our school is co-organizing the selection of national team players for the "2026 International Mathematical City Youth Invitation Tournament".
We encourage students from your school to actively register and participate. Please be informed.
Details:
1. Starting from 2025, the selection method for the national team players of the "International Mathematical City Youth Invitation Tournament" has been simplified. The "Taiwan Regional International Primary and Secondary School Mathematics Ability Test" (IMAS) will be used, with the scores from the first and second rounds serving as the basis for selection. Preliminary and final competitions will no longer be held separately. Students interested in participating in the selection activities for the "2026 International Mathematical City Youth Invitation Tournament" national team players should pay attention to the IMAS registration information.
2. Eligibility:
(1) Students currently enrolled in public or private elementary or junior high schools approved by the Ministry of Education.
(2) Eligibility for registration is based on the grade level of the school attended in December 2025.
1. Junior Elementary School Group: Primarily for students in the 3rd and 4th grades of elementary school.
2. Senior Elementary School Group: Primarily for students in the 5th and 6th grades of elementary school. 3. Junior High School Group: Primarily for students in the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades of junior high school.
(3) Participating students may register for a higher grade level but not for a lower grade level.
3. Registration Period: From now until December 15, 2025.
4. Examination Dates:
(1) The first round of the test is scheduled for Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 08:30 to 12:00. (Please refer to the IMAS brochure).
(2) The second round of the test is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026 (the exact time will be announced on March 1, 2026).
5. Registration method: Please refer to the IMAS brochure for details.
6. Admission tickets will not be mailed for this test. Participants should bring their ID card, health insurance card, or student ID card (elementary school students may bring their household registration book) for verification by the proctors during the test.
