Subject: Attached is the poster for the "Rural Teacher Interdisciplinary Support Workshop" jointly organized by the Teacher Education Center of our school and the Miaoli County STEAM Education Center (as attached). We kindly request your school to encourage teachers to actively register and participate, and to grant official (business) leave for participants to attend this event. Please be informed.
Description:
I. The workshop aims to support rural teachers with non-natural science expertise by integrating the concept of STEAM interdisciplinary education, with the goal of building an interdisciplinary co-learning mechanism to jointly deepen the innovative development of science education in rural areas.
II. Workshop information is as follows:
(I) First Day: STEAM Optics Exploration and Creative Teaching Practice.
1. Time: July 16, 115 (Thursday), 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Registration opens at 9:30 AM).
2. Location: General Physics Laboratory R125, General Building III, our school (No. 101, Section 2, Guangfu Road, Hsinchu City).
(II) Second Day: Encountering Brain Science—Fruit Fly Behavior and Neuroimaging.
1. Time: July 17, 115 (Friday), 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Registration opens at 9:45 AM).
2. Location: 5th Floor, Tsing Hua Laboratory, Brain Science Research Center, our school (No. 101, Section 2, Guangfu Road, Hsinchu City).
III. Registration Information:
(I) Target Audience: Priority will be given to teachers from remote areas and schools that are neither mountainous nor urban. Teachers from all levels of schools who are interested in the workshop topics are also welcome to register.
(II) Description: The two-day courses of this workshop can be registered for independently. Each day is expected to enroll 30 to 50 participants, but participants must attend the entire day's training.

(IV) Accommodation Subsidy: To promote teaching exchange in rural areas, teachers from remote areas and schools that are neither mountainous nor urban are invited to share their teaching practices, and accommodation subsidies will be provided during the workshop (for details, please refer to the registration form. The organizer reserves the right of final review and adjustment).
