Subject: Regarding the "Indigenous Education Teacher Training in Indigenous Culture and Multicultural Education" workshop organized by National Taichung University of Education from May to June 2027, as detailed in the explanation, please be informed.
Explanation:
1. In accordance with the official letter from National Taichung University of Education dated April 30, 2027, No. 1152060682.
2. Workshop information and registration methods are as follows:
(1) Pingtung session workshop date and location:
1. Date: Saturday, May 23, 2027, from 8:20 AM to 5:00 PM.
2. Location: Classroom N103, Teaching Building 2, Pingtung University, Pingshang Campus.
3. For other information, please refer to the physical workshop schedule. Any changes will be announced on the Facebook fan page of the "Center for Indigenous Education and Culture Research, National Taichung University of Education."
(2) Target audience: 1. The primary target audience is full-time teachers in indigenous key schools or indigenous education classes, full-time indigenous language teachers, teaching support staff, and substitute teachers or hourly teachers hired for more than 6 months.
2. Teachers from all levels of primary and secondary schools nationwide who are interested in indigenous education are welcome to participate.
(3) Official leave regulations: This workshop is a legally mandated training course jointly commissioned by the Council of Indigenous Peoples and the Ministry of Education. Please grant your teachers official leave or compensatory leave to attend the workshop, but they are responsible for their own class duties.
(4) Registration deadline and method: Registration is open from now until 3 days before the workshop date. Please log in to the National Teacher In-service Training Network and register according to the target audience for each session. On-site registration is not permitted.
3. The aforementioned legally mandated training course includes both physical and online components. For the online component, please log in to the Ministry of Education's MOOCs online learning platform, search for the "Indigenous Education Teacher Training" course, and complete the coursework. Simultaneously, please visit the website of the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Native Language Database (https://ipse.k12ea.gov.tw/aborigine_center/regular_form) to fill out the personal information form without logging in, to facilitate subsequent verification of the legally mandated training course completion.
