Subject: Attached is the information regarding the "Pitch Your Competency Super Ball! Ace Pitcher Teaching Experience Grand Reveal!" online seminar organized by the PaGamO Competency Learning Team. We kindly request your school to encourage teachers to actively register and participate. Please be informed.
Details:
I. To assist teachers in understanding the classroom application strategies, design concepts, and features of PaGamO competency-based learning materials, we plan to share cross-county teaching achievements to enhance the effectiveness of gamified learning in supporting competency-oriented teaching.
II. Seminar information is as follows:
(I) Format: The seminar will be conducted online via Google Meet. The meeting room link will be sent to the registered participants' email addresses three days prior to the seminar.
(II) Participants:
1. Elementary and junior high school teachers across Taiwan interested in competency-based teaching.
2. Elementary and junior high school teachers across Taiwan who have obtained the authorization for PaGamO competency-based learning materials.
(III) Seminar Sessions:
1. PaGamO Critical Thinking and Expression Teaching Skills: Critical Thinking Material Design Secrets × AI Application Complete Guide
(1) Lecturer: Chen Yue-ning, PaGamO Teaching Research and Design Specialist.
(2) Time: April 30th (Thursday) 19:00-20:30.
(3) Content: Quick start with critical thinking and expression products, unlocking various teaching possibilities with AI functions, deconstructing concepts from topic selection to design.
2. Chinese Competency Special Session: Reading Comprehension and Critical Thinking・Precision Pitching
(1) Lecturer: Teacher Chen Bo-ren, Kezhuang Elementary School, Miaoli County.
(2) Time: May 6th (Wednesday) 19:00-20:00.
(3) Content: Introduction to PaGamO Chinese competency-based learning materials and sharing of implementation results, material trial use, and sharing of practical teaching application experience.
3. English Competency Special Session: Grammar and Reading・Fastball
(1) Lecturer: Teacher Liu Ru-zhen, Xindian Elementary School, New Taipei City.
(2) Time: May 7th (Thursday) 19:00-20:00.
(3) Content: Introduction to PaGamO English competency-based learning materials and sharing of implementation results, material trial use, and sharing of practical teaching application experience.
4. Mathematics Competency Special Session: Logical Modeling・Perfect Defense
(1) Lecturer: Teacher Huang Hui-lin, PaGamO Navigator.
(2) Time: May 8th (Friday) 19:00-20:00.
(3) Content: Introduction to PaGamO Mathematics competency-based learning materials and sharing of implementation results, material trial use, and sharing of practical teaching application experience.
5. PaGamO Critical Thinking and Expression Practical Skills: Classroom Application of Critical Thinking Materials
(1) Lecturer: Teacher Zhang Wei-xiang, Yuli Elementary School, Hualien County.
(2) Time: May 9th (Saturday) 10:30-12:00.
(3) Content: How to transform text into engaging classroom dialogue, practical strategies for using AI to assist teaching, and sharing of real-world teaching experiences.
(IV) Seminar Rewards: To encourage active registration from teachers across Taiwan, those who meet the following conditions and complete the feedback questionnaire will receive QP rewards in their teacher backend (limited to the Competency World of Counties and Cities). Teachers can use these QPs when assigning tasks within the platform.
1. Early Bird Reward: Participants who register and attend the event before April 30th (Thursday) will receive a reward of 50,000 QPs.
2. Participation Reward: For each session attended by a teacher, the team will award 10,000 QPs to their teacher backend.
