Subject: Forwarding the electronic poster for the "Rural Teacher Self-Improvement Program - Exploring the World of Sound and Light: Energy Manifestation and Wave Properties" online lecture organized by the Teacher Education Center and the Miaoli County STEAM Education Center of our university. We encourage relevant teachers (including substitute, temporary, and intern teachers) to actively register and participate. Please be informed.
Details:
1. The aforementioned program aims to provide guidance to non-specialist elementary school teachers in rural areas, primarily focusing on the natural sciences. Assistance will be provided through online lectures, online consultations, and in-person guidance.
2. The details of the aforementioned lecture are as follows:
(1) Time: October 27, 2025 (Monday), from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
(2) Format: Hybrid (in-person and video conference).
1. Classroom 125, General Physics Laboratory, East Side, Main Building III, our university.
2. Google Meet video conference.
(3) Speaker: Associate Professor Hsueh-Hsing Hung, Department of Physics, our university.
(4) Content: This lecture will feature demonstrations related to sound and light, and equipment will be provided for in-person participants for hands-on activities.
3. Registration Information:
(1) Target Audience: Primarily elementary school science teachers in rural areas without a science background. Non-rural science teachers with needs are also welcome to register.

(3) The video conference link will be sent via email to successful registrants prior to the lecture.
(4) If you are unable to attend the lecture, you are welcome to indicate your interest in watching the lecture video. We will provide the video link via email after the lecture concludes.
4. To enhance exchange among participating teachers in this program and to facilitate discussions on teaching materials, methods, and subject knowledge, our university has also established a Line group and a Q&A form (as indicated by the QR code on the poster). You are welcome to join and ask questions freely.
