Subject: Our school is undertaking the second round of the "Cultural Heritage Teacher Empowerment Online Workshop and Promotion Course" organized by the Bureau of Cultural Heritage, Ministry of Culture. The course will commence on November 24, 114. We kindly request your announcement and encourage your staff to actively register and participate. Please be informed.
Description:
I. To encourage teachers to integrate cultural heritage topics into their teaching and enhance their professional capabilities, as well as to provide in-service teachers with a comprehensive understanding of cultural heritage, the Bureau of Cultural Heritage, Ministry of Culture, has planned the "Cultural Heritage Teacher Empowerment Online Workshop and Promotion Course." This course combines flexible online self-paced learning with interactive in-person sessions, aiming to assist teachers in developing second specializations, fostering students' cultural identity and community connections, and achieving the sustainable development of cultural heritage.
II. Course information is as follows:
(I) Course Topics: Second Round: "Introduction to Cultural Heritage," "Architectural Cultural Heritage," "Understanding Antiquities in Cultural Heritage," "Traditional Crafts and Traditional Performing Arts and Their Preservation."
(II) Course Dates: Second Round: November 24, 114 - April 3, 115.
(III) Course Format: This course adopts an asynchronous online format combined with in-person sessions (participation in person or via synchronous video is possible).
(IV) Target Audience:
1. First Priority: In-service teachers or substitute teachers in primary and secondary schools. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Second Priority: Administrative staff working in schools below the senior high level.
(V) Course Fees: The course is free. A deposit of NT$2,000 is required for each course. Upon completion, a certificate and teacher learning hours will be awarded.
(VI) Registration Method: Registration for the second round of courses is currently open.
1. Step 1: Register on the "National In-service Teacher Training Information Network" (www2.inservice.edu.tw).
2. Step 2: Deposit Payment: After registration review, notification regarding payment methods and deadlines will be sent separately.
Note: Teaching support staff without an account on the National In-service Teacher Training Information Network should request assistance from their school to activate an account. For registration inquiries, please call (02)2700-5858 ext. 1 or 8617 (Ms. Lu), 8602 (Ms. Cheng).
III. Attached is one copy of the registration brochure as an appendix.
