Endless happiness in our class
Renai Elementary School, Grade 6, Class 4, Guo Zhitong

Pets are the family members everyone cherishes and treasures the most. Due to the declining birthrate and the increasingly fast-paced life, the distance between people is growing. Therefore, people choose to keep pets to enrich their lives. However, raising a pet requires time and patient care for it to grow up safely.
Recently, we've been raising two adorable golden hamsters in our classroom. Everyone takes good care of them daily and doesn't forget to decorate their new home, giving the cute golden hamsters a warm and cozy place to live. I love the golden hamsters' tender paws, like a newborn baby's fingernails, making them irresistible. I especially love looking at their faces, which are like little balls, so chubby and incredibly cute! It makes you want to pinch their little cheeks. I also love playing with them. When we play, it feels like we understand what each other is thinking, further building our trust. It turns out the distance between humans and animals can be very close.
The two golden hamsters, the fatter one is named "Welcome," and the other is "Guest." "Welcome" and joy often "visit" our class. Ever sinceWelcomeandGuestcame to our class, the teacher said we've become more considerate and sensible. Because we have to take turns caring for the little darlings, besides feeding them, we also have to clean up their waste. We can't just play with them. At this point, classmates realize the hardship parents go through to raise us!
Golden hamsters are very timid. They were not familiar with us at first. When they arrived in a new environment, they often curled up in fear, truly "timid as a mouse." And as soon as someone approached, they would "scurry away" to hide. Whenever I see their frightened expressions, I realize I've scared them, and I quickly apologize, hoping they'll forgive me. During breaks, I often chat withWelcomeandGuestto relieve the stress of homework and to further strengthen our bond. It turns out that "love" can overcome all obstacles; relationships are cultivated bit by bit through daily interaction.
Every life is precious. Since we've adopted them, we must be responsible for their entire lives and not abandon them. We must cherish and love them well, so as not to cause the problem of "stray animals." Since the golden hamsters came to our classroom, our class has been filled with laughter every day.
I likeWelcomeandGuest, I like their cute looks; I like the happiness they bring me; I like the many wonderful times they bring to our class. I hopeWelcomeandGuestcan stay with us for a long, long time...
