The "2026-2027 8th Science Popularization Reading Competition" information is provided by the Research Center for Chinese Language and Technology, National Taiwan Normal University. Students are encouraged to sign up and participate.

I. To promote students' motivation for reading and cultivate their reading literacy, our university's Research Center for Chinese Language and Technology is organizing the "2026-2027 8th Science Popularization Reading Competition."
II. To enhance students' self-directed learning and scientific knowledge, the center will issue completion certificates to participants and provide various awards.
III. Event details are as follows:
(I) Online registration period: From 12:00 PM on September 14, 2026, to 12:00 PM on November 27, 2026.
(II) Eligibility: Students from 3rd grade of elementary school to 8th grade of junior high school, and 10th grade of senior high school.
(III) Registration methods:

(IV) Competition process:
1. Pre-test: December 2026.
2. Reading tasks: Read books and articles according to the regulations for each grade level and participant group, and log in to the official website to complete post-reading assessments. Task period: From 12:00 PM on January 11, 2027, to 12:00 PM on April 2, 2027.
3. Post-test: April 2027.
