Subject: Regarding the demand survey for the "Science Education Traveling Courses" for the first semester of the 115th academic year at our county's Science Education Center, details as described, please be informed.
Description:
1. In accordance with the letter from Pingtung County Pingtung City Jianguo Elementary School dated September 3, 115, with reference number
1150000140, and the 115th academic year operation and maintenance plan of our county's Science Education Resource Center.
2. The implementation matters related to the subject are as follows:
(1) Target audience: All elementary and junior high schools in our county are eligible to apply.
(2) Implementation period: First semester of the 115th academic year, from September 14, 115, to January 20, 116. Traveling time to schools will be every Tuesday and Thursday, limited to two class periods each time.
3. Application method:
(1) Schools interested in applying should first fill out the application demand form at: https://forms.gle/XyuNTwcpZsSto1rX7. Those with no demand do not need to fill it out. Please pay attention to the form instructions when filling it out, so that the center can contact you by phone to coordinate the traveling dates to the school and related matters.
(2) Application deadline: From now until September 30, 115. The application demand form will be closed once the maximum number of applications from schools is reached.
(3) Notes for filling out the form: Traveling to each school will be based on one half-day and two class periods (morning is the third and fourth periods; afternoon is the fifth and sixth periods), and the two class periods should be for different classes of students as a principle. Each person in charge should apply based on the school's academic calendar and the willingness of the classes to participate. If there are discrepancies between the school's schedule and the scheduled time, please inform us in advance.
(4) Content of science education traveling courses: This course includes 5 themes: Basic Electrical Engineering, Basic Mechanics, Mobile Phone Microscope, Interesting Chemical Reactions, and Computational Thinking - Sea Overlord Board Game.
4. Other explanatory matters:
(1) Teachers need to co-teach during the traveling courses.
(2) Schools that have not applied before will be given priority in scheduling, followed by the order in which the application forms were submitted to determine the schedule for the science education traveling courses.
(3) After the Science Education Center has scheduled an estimated time, they will contact the school's contact person by phone to confirm the traveling date and time.
(4) You can apply for this service concurrently with the center's astronomy traveling course (every Friday). Related matters will be explained in a separate announcement.
