Subject: To promote mathematics, our association has scheduled the "2027 WMI World Mathematics Invitation Competition - Taiwan Selection Competition" on January 3, 2027 (Sunday). We kindly request your school to announce and recommend students to participate in the competition, to enhance mathematics education. We welcome your participation to join hands, connect with international mathematics, discover outstanding talents, and bring glory to our country. Please review and approve.
Details:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of the Interior's letter No. Tai-Nei-She-Tzu-9009557 dated March 2001 and our association's 2026 work plan.
2. This event has received approval from the Education Bureau of Hsinchu County Government with letter Jiao-Xue-Tzu-1157610278 dated August 12, 2026, and the Department of Education of Hsinchu City Government with letter Fu-Jiao-Xue-Tzu-1150145131 dated August 24, 2026, to serve as guiding units.
3. The WMI World Mathematics Invitation Competition is the first international mathematics competition initiated by Taiwan, bringing together organizations promoting mathematics education worldwide. The finals are held in different countries each year, with outstanding contestants selected from national selection competitions representing their countries.
4. The "2027 WMI World Mathematics Invitation Competition - Taiwan Selection Competition" is open to all Taiwanese students from public and private kindergartens to the third year of high school. We welcome students who love mathematics to actively participate, jointly respond, and win honor for Taiwan.
