Subject: Attached is the electronic poster for the "2026 2nd Indigenous Languages Proficiency Test." We kindly request your assistance in announcing this information and encouraging teachers, students, and staff under your jurisdiction to register. Please acknowledge receipt.
Description:
1. The aforementioned test is organized by our university, commissioned by the Council of Indigenous Peoples and the Indigenous Language Research and Development Foundation. The registration period is from August 31, 2027 (Monday) to September 30, 2027 (Wednesday). The test date is scheduled for December 5, 2027 (Saturday).
2. This test has five proficiency levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced, and Superior. There are no restrictions on nationality, ethnicity, age, or educational background for registration. The examination guidelines and related test information can be found and downloaded from the "2026 2nd Indigenous Languages Proficiency Test" website (https://exam.sce.ntnu.edu.tw/abst/), or you can contact
the toll-free service hotline for candidates: 0800-699-566, (02)7749-3664, or join the official LINE account (@107abst) for the latest information.
3. For school teachers who assist in completing group online registrations for candidates, the Council of Indigenous Peoples and the Indigenous Language Research and Development Foundation will provide subsidies for administrative fees to schools that assist with group registrations in national elementary and junior high schools, senior high schools (vocational), five-year junior colleges, and two-year junior colleges. A subsidy of NT$50 will be provided for each student enrolled in the school who completes the registration.

4. Furthermore, to provide more convenient testing channels, starting from August 2027, the Indigenous Languages Proficiency Test will introduce "On-site (In-town, In-school) Testing" for Beginner and Intermediate levels, and establish a "Test, Evaluate, and Certify Immediately" system (details can be found on the Indigenous Languages Proficiency Test On-site Testing website: https://cwt-exam.csf.org.
