Details:
1. Our association has long been committed to promoting animal protection education. This year, we are organizing the 2026 5th "Animal Care Literature Award," guided by the Ministry of Agriculture. The theme is "My Favorite Animal Protection Textbook Lesson." We invite high school, junior high, and elementary school students to create original prose based on textbook lessons that embody the spirit of "owner responsibility,"
and integrate the spirit of animal care.
2. Since the call for submissions opened this year, we have received enthusiastic responses from students. To acknowledge the students' passionate participation and encourage more outstanding works, our association has decided to add 5 honorable mention awards to each of the "Elementary School Group," "Junior High School Group," and "High School Group." The number of honorable mentions in each group has increased from the original 10 to 15. 3. The adjusted award details are as follows: The "Elementary School Group," "Junior High School Group," and "High School Group" will each select one first prize winner, two second prize winners, three third prize winners, and fifteen honorable mention winners. The prize money for the first prize is NT$3,000, for the second prize is NT$2,000 per person, for the third prize is NT$1,000 per person, and for honorable mentions is NT$500 per person. All award-winning students will receive a certificate of award from the Ministry of Agriculture.
4. To provide students with more time for creation and submission, the submission deadline for this event has been extended from the original August 31, 2026, to September 7, 2026. For detailed information, please refer to the attached revised activity guidelines (Attachment 1) or the "Student Activities Zone" on our association's official website (https://www.lca.org.tw/education/31

5. Outstanding award-winning works will be published on our association's official website, Facebook and IG fan pages, and the "Animal Protection Rooted Education Platform" website, allowing more teachers, students, and the general public to appreciate the works.
