The calculation of years of service for inter-district transfers to other counties and cities shall be determined based on individual circumstances, applying relevant regulations such as the "Regulations Governing Inter-District Transfers for Public Elementary and Junior High School Teachers," the "Act for the Development of Education in Remote Areas," and the "Regulations Governing Publicly Funded Teacher Training, Scholarships, and Service." Years of service during parental leave without pay may be considered continuous service. However, after deducting periods of leave for childcare or military service, the actual years of service must not be less than 6 years. If the service period is less than the mandatory obligation, public funds must be repaid according to regulations to be released from the public fund service obligation. Therefore, after being assigned to teach, public fund students must serve for a minimum of 6 years before they can apply for inter-district transfers to serve in other counties and cities.
