1. In accordance with the letter No. 1120173747 dated December 7, 112, from the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Administration).

2. To assist elementary and junior high school students nationwide in improving their English listening skills, the Administration's English online learning platform (Cool English) has established dedicated sections for "Animated Adventures" and "Interactive Learning Videos." Through engaging and lively animated videos, students can learn everyday English conversations. Additionally, the platform features a "Movie Fun Screening" section, offering English-teaching videos from the Voice of America website. These videos use movie clips to present real-life dialogue scenarios, helping students learn common phrases, train their English listening comprehension, and understand English expressions through various interactive listening exercises. To encourage elementary and junior high school students nationwide to continuously utilize the listening resources on the platform to enhance their English listening skills, the "Cool English Listening King" competition is being held as described above.

3. Participants: Students in grades 3-6 of public and private elementary schools nationwide (Elementary Group) and students in grades 7-9 of junior high schools (Junior High Group). Each group is further divided based on their school's location into the General Area School Group and the Remote Area School Group (the Remote Area School Group is defined according to the "List of Remote Area Elementary and Junior High Schools" announced by the Ministry of Education for the 111 academic year, including schools categorized as remote, very remote, and extremely remote).

4. Registration/Answering Period: From January 15, 113 (Monday) 00:00 to February 16, 113 (Friday) 23:59. The competition operates on a first-come, first-served registration and then answering basis. Participants must complete the registration form accurately before they can access the answering section. (The end time of the competition will be based on the last answering time displayed on the platform's website).
