I. The 12-year basic education curriculum emphasizes cultivating students' core competencies as a key aspect of teaching. Our association is organizing two teacher training workshops, starting from the challenges faced in the classroom, to assist teachers in gradually implementing competency-oriented teaching. We hope to use a professional teaching team, professional development courses, and the support of various sectors of society to jointly cherish the immense challenges faced by grassroots teachers amidst social changes and educational reforms. This will empower teachers with support and help them retain their passion and original intentions for education. 1. "Teaching Competency Teachers Workshop ~ Bringing a Forest Back": This workshop will share the teaching methods of the "Forest School" over the past thirty years, focusing on three major areas: Chinese language, mathematics, and school life. 2. "How to Teach Mathematical Competencies?": This session will share practical classroom examples to help elementary school teachers understand and utilize the "Math Think" curriculum to implement interdisciplinary, core competency teaching, and to join the public welfare program for using "Math Think."
II. This workshop is subsidized by the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration, and all teachers can participate free of charge.
III. This workshop will be held online, allowing teachers from all over the country to participate.
