I. The "Students Love Earth" project is briefly described as follows:
(I) Implementation period: From July 1, 112 (hereinafter the same) to August 31.
(II) Target audience: High school, junior high school, and elementary school students nationwide.
(III) Implementation method: During the implementation period, students can present their student IDs to visit the "Marine Career Exploration Base" or the "University and College Marine Technology Achievement Exhibition Base" at our museum. Upon visiting these two bases, they will receive one free admission ticket to the "Earth: Pulsing" Ecology and Art Special Exhibition for that day. One ticket per person. With the ticket and student ID, they can enter the first special exhibition hall to view the special exhibition for free.
II. The "Marine Career Exploration Base" (located in the Education Center of our museum) and the "University and College Marine Technology Achievement Exhibition Base" (located on the second floor of the Regional Exploration Hall of our museum) introduce 8 types of marine career professions through high-tech interactive experience facilities, and invite universities and colleges to showcase their marine-related research achievements. Students can also board the RB-02 rescue boat donated by the Coast Guard Administration to our museum to experience and understand various facilities, and watch 3D naked-eye videos in the ship's cabin theater. This allows students to personally experience the mission status of the rescue boat, providing them with a rare and unique career experience. This is a unique experiential space in our museum, which is very helpful for students to understand marine careers.
III. The "Earth: Pulsing" Ecology and Art Special Exhibition (exhibited in the first special exhibition hall of our museum) is jointly organized by our museum and the Delta Electronics Foundation. It combines high-definition photos from the BBC's ecological documentaries "Planet Earth II" and "Blue Planet II." Through three sections: "Ecological Interpretation Zone," "Embracing Ecology - Image Exhibition Zone," and "Gazing at Nature - Art Exhibition Zone," it showcases the relationship between ecology and art. This allows students to immerse themselves in the natural world, from videos, research reports, and biological images to artistic paintings, demonstrating humanity's responsibility towards nature.
IV. All eligible students nationwide are welcome to visit our museum during the summer. Interested school groups are also welcome to make reservations in advance to receive more appropriate services. Contact person: Ms. Li (02-24696000 ext. 7033), Mr. Su (02-24696000 ext. 7017).
