2023-2024 Academic Year National Elementary and Junior High School Media Literacy Education Base School Program

{{ $t('FEZ002') }} Academic Affairs Office|

Key points for the 112 academic year project application are as follows:
(1) In addition to integrating with domain courses, schools must include media literacy education in their school-based curriculum, establish a media literacy education teaching community, invite media literacy lecturers to guide the community's operations, enhance media literacy teaching knowledge and skills, and develop curriculum modules and teaching materials/lesson plans.
(2) For the developed curriculum modules and teaching materials/lesson plans, teaching should be implemented in at least one grade level. After revision based on the implementation, they should be provided to the department and uploaded to the Ministry of Education's Media Literacy Education Resource Network for reference by other schools.
(3) In the first year, at least two lesson plans for 2 class periods should be designed, and the school's media literacy curriculum map should be developed. Starting from the second year, curriculum modules for at least 6 class periods and 6 corresponding teaching materials or learning worksheets should be developed annually for different grade levels or domains.
(4) To understand the progress of media literacy base schools, the department will organize 1 to 2 mid-term or final outcome presentations each academic year. The team will be invited to provide professional opinions, and a relevant evaluation mechanism will be established as a reference for approving the following year's projects.
Interested schools should complete the project proposal (including the budget table) and return it to Teacher Wang Yu-chi at the county government (a330146@oa.pthg.gov.tw) by May 29, 112 (Monday), for eligibility review.
4. For any related questions, please contact Mr. Wang or Ms. Lan, project assistants at National Taiwan University (Center for Public Policy and Law), at (02)3366-3366 ext. 55787.
