I. The center has long promoted marine disaster prevention and popular science knowledge through diverse methods such as articles, posters, and animations, hoping to enhance public marine literacy, prevent disasters, and enable self-rescue when encountering them.
II. In view of "rip currents" and "rogue waves" being the two main causes of marine recreational accidents, the center has produced bilingual (Chinese and English) posters and animations on the themes of "rip currents" and "rogue waves." These resources are integrated on the webpage: https://tmec.ntou.edu.tw/p/406-1016-38947,r625.php?Lang=zh-tw. This page is also broadcast on the center's website bulletin board with the title "[Information Announcement] Marine Disaster Prevention Popular Science Promotion Resources, Welcome Public Sharing." We kindly request your school to promote this to teachers and students, hoping to reduce related marine recreational accidents.
III. For any unaddressed matters, please contact Ms. Chang Yan-ling, specialist at our center, at (02)2462-2192 ext. 1270.
