According to the monitoring data from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Centers for Disease Control, from March 5 to 11, 112 (2023), the number of outpatient visits for enterovirus in the country has shown a gradual upward trend. Laboratory monitoring also indicates that various types of enteroviruses, including Enterovirus 71, Enterovirus D68, and Coxsackievirus A, are circulating in the community, posing a risk of transmission and requiring heightened vigilance.
III. Please strengthen enterovirus health education and prevention efforts in accordance with the Ministry of Health and Welfare's "2023 Enterovirus Epidemic Response Plan."
