New version of "Self-Epidemic Prevention Guidelines"

According to the "Self-Epidemic Prevention Guidelines" issued by the Pingtung County Government Education Department on October 25, 2022, under letter No. 11163540600:
I. Applicable Objects and Period:
(I) Inbound travelers from abroad:
1. Conduct 7 days of self-epidemic prevention starting from the day after the date of entry (Day 0).
(II) Close contacts of confirmed cases:
1. After completing 3 days of home isolation starting from the day after the last contact date with the confirmed case (Day 0), conduct 4 days of self-epidemic prevention.
2. Conduct 7 days of self-epidemic prevention starting from the day after the last contact date with the confirmed case (Day 0).
II. Epidemic Prevention Regulations to be Observed
(I) Testing Measures:
1. Testing Timing:
(1) Perform rapid screening with a household antigen rapid test kit on the day of entry, the first day of self-epidemic prevention (D0/D1), or the day of being identified as a close contact.
(2) If symptomatic, rest at the self-epidemic prevention location and perform rapid screening with a household antigen rapid test kit.
(3) A negative result from a household antigen rapid test conducted within 2 days is required to go out. (For example, if going out on 10/12, a negative result from a rapid test conducted on 10/11 or 10/12 is required.)
(II) Precautions When Going Out:
1. When going out, a negative result from a household antigen rapid test conducted within 2 days is required in accordance with these guidelines.
2. Wear a mask at all times when going out, commuting to work, or attending school, and maintain social distancing. Masks may be temporarily removed for eating and drinking, but must be put back on immediately after finishing.
3. Avoid contact with individuals at high risk of severe illness, including the elderly over 65, children under 6, and those with compromised or weakened immune systems.
4. If you need to dine, you may eat alone or with specific individuals in a restaurant. Masks must be worn immediately after leaving your seat and after finishing your meal.
5. Do not accompany or visit patients in hospitals. It is recommended to postpone non-urgent medical appointments or examinations and avoid visiting long-term care facilities.
