Description:
I. In accordance with the National Pingtung University's letter No. 1113300476 dated May 31, 111, and the "Pingtung County Regulations for the Establishment of a Counseling and Support System for Teachers in Secondary and Elementary Schools (hereinafter referred to as these Regulations)".
II. To maintain and promote the mental health of frontline teachers in the county's school education system, the County Government has established the "Pingtung County Teacher Counseling and Support Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center)" and entrusted the National Pingtung University to manage related support services. It is hoped that through the assistance of psychologists and professional personnel, teachers can alleviate work and life stress and meet their self-awareness needs.
III. The target audience and services of this project are as follows:
(I) Service recipients: Principals, full-time teachers, and substitute teachers (limited to the period of substitution) of county-run senior high schools and public/private elementary and junior high schools in the county.
(II) Service items:
1. Mental Growth Courses: Organize lectures or workshops on professional development, stress relief techniques, and practical knowledge to provide teachers with self-growth and self-care.
2. Individual Counseling: Through one-on-one conversations, explore personal confusion in depth to resolve teachers' psychological distress and improve their mental health. The number of sessions is limited to 3 times per person per year, and up to 6 times after evaluation by professional personnel.
3. Group Counseling: Conduct group activities and discussions on different themes to help teachers with self-awareness and integration, and to alleviate work stress.
4. Professional Consultation: Provided through telephone counseling, case discussions, and referral information.
5. Psychological Crisis Intervention: Provide professional psychological consultation, counseling, or stress reduction and support groups to help teachers cope with the psychological impact of campus crises and stabilize their minds and bodies.
6. Other Support Services: Provide primary preventive education related to teachers' mental health through online and print publicity.

(I) Service hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. On Wednesdays, service is extended until 9:00 PM.

V. In accordance with the provisions of these Regulations, "Schools shall not discriminate against or impose any other unfavorable disposition on teachers regarding their work, performance evaluations, or other related rights and interests due to their acceptance of support services provided by the Teacher Support Center." Therefore, teachers are encouraged to use this support service with peace of mind.
